Memphis is another one of our satellite locations for OPERATION UPLIFT. Most of our work with the homeless is conducted in the downtown area where there a major concentration of these individuals.
Each year, Jim Hogsett joins the Warriors which is a local group which feeds the homeless each Sunday afternoon on the grounds of beautiful downtown Memphis. Jim says, “This is one of my favorite times because it gives me an opportunity to speak to a captive audience. I always remind them that when God made you, he didn’t make NO junk. He made you for a purpose.
