A Blueprint for Rescuing Young Wanderers in the Wilderness

This workshop uses individual case studies to show how God has a purpose for every human's life and how some specific young people have found their purpose for living and are now reaching out to others in so many ways!   A blueprint for helping young wanderers find their calling and live the Christian life in the workplace will be closely examined.

A Christian At Work in Customer Service

Every person has a customer because a customer is anyone whom we should be serving whether in business, in the church, in school, or elsewhere. In this workshop, the instructor shows how to apply Biblical truth that goes far beyond the idea of having just a satisfied customer.

A Worker Need Not Be Ashamed

This workshop focuses on how to be an ambassador for Christ in the workplace using four critical steps based on Biblical truth.  Instruction includes an important distinction between the protestant versus Christian work ethic.

Bearing Fruit?  BUT how do you grow it?

Christians may have heard hundreds of sermons, attended many classes, read many books but have they grown?   This workshop focuses on how training is distinguished from development and how to teach the process of Christian development throughout life to others so their branches will truly bear fruit.

Better Than Barbecue - There are many business owners/managers who profess to be Christians and who regularly attend their church. Yet, most of these individuals have never developed a Christian Business Model that would enable them to fulfill the Great Commission inside their workplace. In this workshop, Jim Hogsett shares the true story about a business owner who has brought the Gospel into his business in many ways. The results include customers and employees who have been saved!  Managers and employees need to be aware of this true Christian Business Model which can be easily planted in any business.

Biblical Decisionmaking

God gives us the freedom to make our choices in life.  The problem is that most of us don't know how to figure out exactly what God's will is in every decision we face—especially the big, life-altering decisions.  A major highlight of this workshop is practice making a real life decision using the knowledge/skills taught and using God’s Word to test the results.

Coping With Monsters in the Workplace!

Sixteen monsters which can exist in any workplace are identified during this training. There are over 800 Biblical references to work from which instructions for dealing with each of these monsters are reviewed.

Dealing With Difficult People in the Workplace and At Church

Four types of typical human behavior are examined.  Participants are given the private opportunity to identify their own typical behavior, compare it to how Jesus would behave in the workplace, and examine the impact on interactions with difficult co-workers and managers.

He Who Hath No Fingers!

The secular world says all homeless are lazy people who don't want to work.  Unfortunately, many Christians also subscribe to this myth.  During his annual Operation Uplift, Jim Hogsett actually lives with those on the streets of New York, Washington, Los Angeles, and Memphis.  In this workshop, he tells the plain truth about these individuals and provides written instructions which you can use to help a homeless person leave the streets and become gainfully employed. This is the only answer to poverty!

Help!  I'm Out of Control!

Jim Hogsett examines the what, why, who, and how of self control, one of the seven fruits of the spirit. Controlling one's emotions, thoughts, anger, attitude toward certain individuals or situations is a tremendous challenge for any Christian who is trying to live a Godly life in the 21st Century. This workshop helps us to stay in control.

If Jesus Had a Cell Phone, How Would He Use It?

As we invite Jesus to tour our workplace, he instructs us on how to live the Christian life on the job.  During a special feature of this workshop, we examine how OUR use of technology in the workplace can be a curse which is damaging to Christianity or a blessing which can be used to enhance the Kingdom of God!

Is Your Church Legal?

Your church must be in compliance with many laws which also apply to a secular organization. In this workshop, you will become aware of requirements that need to be addressed by church leaders ranging from church bus safety to protection of young people and consequences such as lawsuits when compliance is ignored.

Miracles Are Like Pimples

Once you start looking, you'll find another one. Jim Hogsett explores the plain truth about miracles and uses personal examples which illustrate God's omnipotence. In this workshop, the linkage between miracles and a life's calling is also highlighted.

Money in the Hands of a Christian

This workshop explores the myths of money and the plain truth about this resource according to the Word of God.  Money is one of many blessings given to us by the Almighty.  This training is designed to help workers manage money in the right way to truly help you meet all of your financial needs regardless of income!

Nuturing a Christian Work Ethic in Children

In this workshop, the instructor focuses on four major actions which are needed to minister to children so as they grow up in the ways of the Lord, they will acquire a Christian work ethic that becomes a way of living.  Participants are given the opportunity to model the Word of God as applied to work perks.

Providing Hope in the Midst of Crises

We live in a time in which there are so many tragedies which can strike anyone or any family. The list is endless and includes shootings in schools and other places, volcanos exploding in Hawaii, airplane accidents, fatal injuries on the job, etc. We in the Christian community need to know how to be proactive and prevent crises within our control and how to deal with an uncontrollable tragedy which can come upon us at any time.

Raising Children:  A Matter of Truth Not Technique

This workshop is centered on a main theme:   “As God relates to us as His children, so we must relate to our children.” The instructor shows how technique is not the key to raising children and reveals the plain truth about wisdom at work in child rearing.

Rescue from the Altar

This workshop provides valuable lessons for helping new converts, young and old, in beginning their walk with Jesus. It includes an examination of a final high school paper written by a young convert just before she was killed in an automobile accident. A personal guide entitled "Introduction to the Beginning of a New Life in Christ" is given to participants to share with anyone being mentored.  It contains critical guidelines to help steer the new convert down the righteous path and how to prepare for trials in the Christian life!

Sharing the Gospel with an Alzheimer's Patient

There is a dangerous myth which says it’s too late for teaching God’s Word to an Alzheimers patient.  Jim Hogsett begs to disagree because he has done it weekly and will show participants how to vividly bring the Gospel to these precious individuals.

Teaching Young People How To Find Their Calling!

It is a sad fact that so many young people grow up only to become wanderers in the wilderness. This workshop uses individual case studies to show how God has a purpose for every human’s life and how specific young people found their purpose for living and are now reaching out to others in so many ways!

The Plain Truth About Business Ethics

This workshop enables you to separate the secular views of ethics in the workplace from what God says about this subject.  Anyone who works in any type of organization needs to grasp an understanding of this important truth.

The Plain Truth About Ethics in the Church

We are living in a day when ethical behavior is not valued. Business executives value the bottom line over ethics. Newspaper headlines and the evening news reveal the scandals brought about by their unethical behaviors. There is one place, though, where unethical behavior should never appear — in the lives of ministers and staff employees of churches.  This workshop separates ethical myths from the real truth and provides real practical answers to subscribing to ethical behavior regardless of the circumstances and temptations

The Undeniable Truth About Divine Intervention

Are there limits to God’s divine intervention? Do I need to prepare for such an intervention and if yes, how? Since all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, why would He have any interest in intervening in my life? These are the kinds of questions which will be answered in this workshop. Participants will also be given the opportunity to share personal examples of God entering their life.

Time of Your Life

There's just not enough time!  Yet, every one of us have been given the same amount of this precious gift of God!  Still, time often seems to be so scarce which is why we miss giving attention to Bible study, doing the work of the Lord, spending quality time in praying and giving attention to the needs of others.   At the end of the day, we may regret that we missed doing so much that had been planned,  Since we can not invent more time, this workshop focuses on practical ways to manage it which can be put  into practice immediately so God can be glorified through maximizing what is truly important in this life.

Turn on the Light!

Humans can curse the darkness or look beyond themselves to see where God is lighting a candle.  This workshop is an experience in using case studies to examine ordinary Christians who have dedicated themselves to doing extraordinary things.  When we look at their lives, it is no wonder that Jesus proclaimed that we are the light of the world.  But, we must be careful to turn on the light of our life so others can see our true purpose for living.

Wisdom At Work

We carry our skills and knowledge to work each day. But, wisdom is often absent which is why many face difficulties in the workplace. Jim Hogsett provides ten of the greatest lessons which go beyond mere knowledge and which prevent many difficulties on the job and in every day life.

Witnessing:  Prepare for the Assignment

Many Christian workers who have good intentions rush out to witness to others without adequate preparation and, therefore, fail in their mission.  This workshop focuses on the solid foundation necessary for carrying the Gospel to others in the workplace and elsewhere.

Witnessing in the Workplace

We spend over one third of our lifetime at work and, yet, so many times, the workplace is off limits to witnessing. In this workshop, you will learn how to eliminate the barriers to witnessing, your role as a witness, and the keys to effective witnessing at work and elsewhere in your life.
