Pray for the Homeless

Worker Ministries believes we all have the responsibility and the privilege to pray for those less fortunate. We invite you to download our extensive list of homeless individuals who desperately need a blessing. Won't you honor the Lord for all he has blessed you with by lifting these poor souls up to Him in prayer as He commands? Simply click on the following link to download the list. We update it regularly so please download as often as you can. Click here: Pray for the Homelesspray for the homeless

March  2004

This month, Worker Ministries salutes the following workers:

Actor and director Mel Gibson who in the face of severe criticism produced the movie The Passion of the Christ.  Isn't it wonderful that a celebrity from Hollywood is not ashamed of the Gospel when he shows a realistic portrayal of the brutal beating and slaying of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Jim Caviezel who was selected by Mel Gibson to be in the role of Jesus. This is a young man who is not ashamed to say, "I love my Lord and Savior more than ever. I didn't understand suffering until I went through this experience. I want to pray more than I ever have. I want to love more. I don't want people to see me. I want them to see God."  Yes, Jim YES!

My barber Kenneth Woods of Graham, North Carolina who at the age of 93 is still providing quality haircuts to his clients!  Thank God retirement is not in his vocabulary!

Crime stopper John Walsh who has put almost 800 fugitives behind bars by exposing their photographs and information about them on his television program.  Walsh's son was abducted and murdered nearly twenty two years ago.

Bonnie Millsaps and Elsie Hones who were training pioneers in the textile industry. They worked for me and were true teachers who were unselfish in sharing their wealth of knowledge with others including their boss!

Dr. James Dobson founder of Focus on the Family whose mission is to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in disseminating the Gospel of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible, and, specifically, to accomplish that objective by helping to preserve traditional values and the institution of the family.

Names like Jack Moore, Frank Bralley, and Luther Matheson are not household names. But, these are special employees who were pioneers in helping me establish one of America's first company truck driver training programs.  As a result of their work, we were able to expose thousands of trainees to quality training and help develop professional drivers many of whom are still serving their customers!

Lowell London a wonderful Christian worker who was one of my outstanding professional trainers for industrial truck operation. During the last two years we worked together, he stood with me and was of great comfort during some very dark experiences which I encountered in a very difficult work environment.

May God Bless these wonderful workers and May God Bless You!
