Worker Ministries is based in Elon, North Carolina which is located twenty miles east of Greensboro, North Carolina. Elon is also the home of Elon University. Since our mission begins at home, Jim Hogsett’s itinerary includes service to our local community. Jim serves as a Lay Minister at Peoples Memorial Christian Church, enabling him to speak to the congregation and to his Sunday School class. He also continues to speak at local churches in our community.
When he is in town, you will find him at Cedar Ridge Retirement Community conducting prayer services for the residents there. This is another way he serves precious senior citizens who are hungry for the Gospel.

Jim Hogsett believes in walking the talk and, for this reason, he continues to practice the Christian work ethic on the front line of the workplace. He exercises his safety/training expertise as a private consultant for a transit service that provides transportation for clients who are unable to drive due to physical/health problems. He also conducts a prayer service for residents at a retirement community.
Such work has been integrated into his full-time responsibilities as President of Worker Ministries.
